This is my entry in the morning show bake-off. Tina ranked it number one and E. White ranked it number 2 out of 3.
Two secrets: One, I never really liked these growing up but everyone who had them did and asked for the recipe so my dad started carrying around little cards and it even made it in our local small-town newspaper after he died.
Two, yes, that's my last name on there. Same as my dad's.
Here's the recipe! BTW, you might need extra flour to get the desired consistency.
