Falen's Weekend in Five Pictures 3/13-3/15

It's been quite the weekend for everyone, and I don't know about you, but I'm a little internally torn. I want to help small and local businesses, so I know buying gift cards is a great way to help. Jake and I eat out decently often. We agreed to cut WAY back in 2020, and we've done great. BUT we love going to grab a meal or two on weekends, so I wanted to go, and I did a couple of times. The places I went had people in them. They weren't dead. I feel selfish about it though. I realize I shouldn't...at least not for a while, so I'm truly backing off. I will look into ordering food to pickup if I need to eat out.

Friday I had Tina over to eat some cheese, so I had to give her a fitting gift. She loves a good cheeseboard, and she loves Disney, so I thought this would be a good gift! I got it on Amazon FYI!

I was low on TP, and Jake looked at 4 places. Luckily, a generous soul named Paula found some and got it for me. I was VERY excited and thankful.

We found a new show on Netflix, thanks to your recommendation, called "Locke and Key". When it first started, we almost turned it off. It has magic and a creepy house...I couldn't tell if it was for kids or adults, but adult things were happening...anyway, after 2 episodes I got into it, and by the last three, I couldn't stop! I do think you need to be into that type of genre to get into it though.

I checked out the Speakeasy, Volsted's with a couple of friends Saturday, and it was cool. Once things calm down, I hope to take Jake there. Today Olive is 6-months old. I cannot believe it. She is so close to crawling it's crazy! I invited the girls from my Amma mom group to do some pictures at a studio I found. I tagged them on the picture on Instagram (@falenkdwb) if you're interested. It looks like they do different themes, and you rent the studio per hour. It was $115 for a weekend hour, so split between 8 of us, it was a great deal. Plus, Jake took the pics, and they're SO cute!

Today is also Jake's mom's birthday! We went to Jake's sister's house for a little late lunch. It was delicious, and Olive got some quality time with her Grandma Linda. I really hope you and your family are safe and well. Thinking of you. I think we're all on each other's minds.
