Friday I went right from the show to North Suburban to get LASIK! I never wore contacts or glasses before, but my eyes had been getting worse for quite a while. I was having hard time seeing things at a distance. It was super quick, and then I was home to nap and chill at home the rest of the night.
Saturday we went to breakfast, and I insisted on wearing the free lasik sunglasses I got. Jake hated them which encouraged it of course.
Saturday was also my 8-year anniversary at KDWB which is just insane. Sometimes it feels like it's been 8 years, and other times it feels like it's my first year. Thank YOU so much for listening...whether it's for a 5 minute commute, to the podcast...for the entire 8-years or you just found us. We appreciate you so much!
We also took Olive to the Hudson Hot Air Affair which was our first time! It was legit so cool. It was super cold, so I was like...am I a bad mom? Olive has such a different childhood already than I did growing up in Indiana.
Also, Olive is almost sitting on her own. She still needs a little help, but for the most part, she's nailing it. I just cannot believe it. AND she's still sleeping through the night. She wakes up about 1x, and puts herself back to sleep. GLORY BE!
Today we had our dog meet up at Paws Doggy Daycare! We have to thank them for hosting, and even though it snowed, we had a great turnout! Thank you to everyone that attended! AND thank you for looking at my pictures:)
