Well, this was a big weekend, one I've been looking forward to for a long time! Let's get started!
First up, Friday night I was asked to emcee a fundraiser for teachers and school in District 112. It was at amazing house/conference center in Victoria. I've never been in a house this big and beautiful. It's the kind of house you see when you're on the lake and you wonder, "What does that look like inside?" It was incredible. And a real honor to recognize these teachers!
Saturday was the big day! Carson came home! I picked him up at the airport and we were so happy to see each other!
Josie was happy to see him too!
And we got to have lunch for the first time with Allison and Susan too!
One of the scouts in our troop made Eagle so we went to his court of honor. Carson's 18 so technically, he's too old to wear his uniform but he's pretty proud of being an Eagle Scout too, so it was a good opportunity to wear it.
And that's it! I hope you had a good weekend too! It's Thanksgiving week and it'll fly by and before you know it, it'll be the weekend again. Enjoy your week, Happy Thanksgiving and thank YOU for looking at my blog!
