Prince's autobiography"The Beautiful Ones" comes out today, and it includes a shot at two artists who probably idolize him: Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry. In his autobiography he wrote, "We need to tell [the music industry] that they keep trying to ram Katy Perry and Ed Sheeran down our throats and we don't like it no matter how many times they play it."
Author Dan Piepenbring was working on the book with Prince before his death . . . and spent the last few years finishing it. He says, "The sheer quantity of paper was surprising. There was no real method to the madness. In one room you'd find something from 1979, and within arm's reach there'd be something from 2002."
