Jersey Shore's Ronnie is tased and arrested after 'striking' Girlfriend

HOLLYWOOD (CNS) - Ronnie Ortiz-Magro of “Jersey Shore” was arrested today on suspicion of kidnapping in connection with an alleged attack on his girlfriend in the Hollywood Hills area, according to police and acelebrity news website.

Officers went to the 7200 block of Woodrow Wilson Drive at 2:40 a.m. in response to a report of a battery and took the man into custody, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Ortiz-Magro was booked on suspicion of kidnapping, with bail set at $100,000, the LAPD reported.

According to TMZ.com, Ortiz-Magro was arrested after allegedly “striking Jen Harley, chasing her with a knife and, eventually, forcing cops to tase him.”

“Ronnie and his GF, Jen -- who've been on and off due to several violent incidents -- got into another heated argument early Friday morning ... at an Airbnb they're renting in L.A.,” TMZ reported.

“As we've seen in the past ... the argument got out of hand quickly, because we're told Ronnie allegedly slapped and punched Jen ... who then went running out of the house, screaming for help,” TMZ reported. “Police got multiple 911 calls reporting the fact Jen was in distress.”

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that Ortiz-Magro chased after Harley “allegedly with a knife in his hand, and horrifyingly, also with their infant daughter!” TMZ reported.

“We're told Ronnie was holding 18-month-old Ariana as he yelled at Jen to get back in the house,” TMZ reported.

Officers Arrested Ortiz-Magro after the couple went back into the house, according to TMZ, which noted that Fox11 Los Angeles broke the story.

In July, Harley was cleared of domestic battery stemming from an alleged fight with Ortiz-Magro in Las Vegas on New Year's eve.
