Friday I went and got a pedicure with Jake's mom and sister. People always hate the colors I choose, but I don't care! I went for yellow!
Jake was in Denver all weekend because his best friend lives there, so I was pretty much a loner! I watched a movie and ordered Chinese food with my mom on Friday night. Saturday I went out the Drag Brunch which was great! I didn't get too hot, and I took a little break half way through to rest my feet! haha
Dolly prefers Jake, but she settled for me this weekend, so this is what I woke up to every morning.
I finished the book "Where the Crawdads Sing" this weekend too. It's my August book club pick, and it was great! I highly recommend it!
Jake's birthday is coming up this Saturday, so I did a little shopping for his birthday and for stuff for the dinner I'm hosting for him. BUT I enjoyed breakfast out both days. I love breakfast out on the weekends. It's my favorite. This was at Parallel.
I recorded a couple of podcasts today and had my mom over for dinner after taking the dogs to the dog park. I hope you had a great weekend. Thanks for checking out my pics...even the gross one of my toes:)
