This weekend was such a relaxed weekend that I saw 2 movies. I rarely ever do that anymore, and lately, I haven't even really had time to watch TV. When people used to say that to me it made no sense. It was nice to have a weekend where I really had nothing going on. Friday, I saw Oceans 8. I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one of the other Ocean's movies, and I liked this one a lot. It doesn't fit into a genre I would normally love, so I didn't LOVE it, but I really liked it.
I've been pretty occupied with this cutie this weekend. She's 7, and her name is Amelia. I'm only watching her for a week while her foster is on vacation.
Saturday, we went to see Hereditary. I read everywhere it was terrifying. Jake hates scary movies, but Mike wanted to go, and so did I, so Jake sucked it up. We were so tense the entire time our shoulders hurt, and I want to say so many things, but I can't ruin it. It was so different, and I don't know if I want to recommend it or not. I will say I was scared, and it was INTENSE!
Saturday, I met Steve for lunch with some awesome people! Jason bid on a lunch with us to support Pause 4 Paws, so we went to eat with him and his friends! We hit up the Original Malt Shop!
After lunch, Jake and I had a wedding to attend. Congrats to his friends Peter and Laurel!
We have such awesome neighbors, and they host get-togethers all the time. They always host an end of the year ice cream party for the kids, so Dillon had to check it out this year! I hope you guys had a nice relaxing weekend too! Thanks for checking out my pics!
