A new study of 2,000 wine drinkers showed that the average person will only start to fully appreciate a good bottle of wine toward the tail end of their 20s (29 to be exact.) However, how they get into it, and what they prefer, varies greatly. The most common way we get into wine is from a friend, with 30 percent reporting that’s how they originally tried it. The most popular first wine for most? Zinfandel!
