I'm back babyyyy!! I was away all last week with my family and my girlfriend, Alyssa, on the beautiful island of Jamaica. If you've never been or even if you have, here are some photos for you to live through vicariously.
Literally the first day we got there, the sun on the resort we stayed at was GORGEOUS. We stayed in Negril, Jamaica which is about an hour and some change from Montego Bay. I'm so glad that our trip wasn't ruined by the hurricane which had hit Jamaica maybe a week prior.
On our first full day there, my girlfriend Alyssa, my cousin Miya and I went ATV riding and ziplining. I had never rode ATV's before and it was AWESOME! We were going down a bunch of hills and through a bunch of bumpy roads that I - a reckless East Coast driver - just sped through.
This was my second time ziplining. I did it the first time I came to Jamaica in 2022. This never fails to be such a fun experience, totally nerve wracking at first but once you do it like 1-2 times, the feeling of being thousands of feet in the air is so exhilarating. I really want to go on one of the world's longest zip lines in Puerto Rico one day.
More amazing beach vibes with my girls! From left to right- my girlfriend Alyssa, my youngest sister Layla, me, and my oldest (of two younger) sisters Brielle.
My baby and I HAD to take advantage of this beautiful sunset and view on the beach! The amount of sweating we probably did from the heat was INSANE but the vibes made everything worth it.
There was one day on the resort we had plans but they didn't happen so we went to the pool and it just so happens they had a FOAM PARTY! I had about 3 drinks and 4 shots in me as this photo was taken but it was soooo much fun. The entertainers on Jamaican resorts know how to keep people entertained from great pool side games to having great dance moves.
Our final night there, my family and I decided to do a denim and white night for dinner. From left to right- my cousin Miya, my sister Brielle, my girlfriend Alyssa, my sister Layla, me, my dad and my stepmom Kima.
The resort had a buffet and different restaurants but on the last night we went to a Hibachi restaurant on the resort. I could literally go ON and ON about this trip but more importantly, after a year of moving away from my family, this was a very much needed trip. I feel rejuvenated and although it ended way too quickly, I am SOOO excited about some other things happening soon...
