Frontier Airlines Is Selling an "All-You-Can-Fly" Pass for $599

Most of us have looked at airline tickets recently . . . saw the prices . . . and thought, "THIS is why I don't fly more." So this is intriguing . . .

Frontier Airlines has announced a new "Go Wild!" annual flight pass for $599, which will offer unlimited flights starting May 2nd of next year. If that seems too good to be true . . . well . . . there are FOUR catches. Here they are:

1. You need to be willing to fly Frontier, obviously.

2. There's a list of blackout dates, which includes most major holidays and popular long weekends.

3. You have to be flexible. You can only book tickets the DAY BEFORE the flight, and not every flight is available. Basically, Frontier is just offering up seats that have gone unsold on their flights . . . so you get the scraps.

4. This is maybe the biggest catch: You can book the tickets for "free" . . . or actually, ONE CENT each . . . but that only covers the airfare.

You still have to pay taxes, fees, and any additional charges, like for premium seats, baggage, and upgrades. And if there are only premium seats available on a flight you want, you'd have to pay for them, it wouldn't be an option.

(Those fees can sneak up on you, since they're sometimes included in the listed price. For example, I recently bought a one-way ticket for $277, but the airfare was $236, and the taxes and fees were $41.)

Frontier even admits that it's not for everyone, but it could be huge for retirees. The $599 price is only good through midnight TONIGHT.
