Converse has unveiled its for 2019 Pride Collection it celebrates the LGBTQ+ community with fun, flashy features like oversized lightning bolts and glitter … lots of glitter. The brand’s first Pride collection dropped in 2014 and it’s evolved into an annual thing, and this year’s collection pays tribute to the 50th anniversary of Pride.
The line includes the Chuck Taylor and Chuck 70 sneakers that show off details inspired by the Pride rainbow flag. Even the shoelace tips have a multicolored design to represent the stripes of the flag and “1969-2019” is stamped on the tongue. The collection also includes the first Converse sneakers inspired by the trans flag, which is light blue, pink and white.
