Taylor Swift revealed how she prevents her backup dancers from leaking her unreleased music, and it's genius.
In the behind-the-scenes video for ‘End Game’, which was shot before the release of Swift’s latest album ‘Reputation,' her backup dancers are shown moving to a “click track” – a simple metronomic rhythm.
“I commend them fully,” Taylor explains, “because they’ve been pretending like there’s music playing when there’s not.” Holding out some discreet personal headphones she says: “I have these in my ears. They’ve been dancing to a click track. It’s incredibly hard work.”
As for how Ed Sheeran heard the song before he contributed his feature:
I was in San Francisco and they sent someone with a locked briefcase with an iPad and one song on it and they flew to San Francisco, and they played me the song I've done with her. And they were like, "Do you like it?" I was like, "Yeah." And then they took it back. That's how you hear them.
