Sometimes kids express themselves in creative ways that show they are wise beyond their years.
A third grader's poem on femininity, titled The True Feminine, went viral on Twitter because of its wisdom and depth.
Rich Pie shared the poem, which has more than 150,000 likes and 65,000 re-tweets:
“I am not sugar and spice and everything nice.
I am music. I am art. I am a story. I am a church bell, gonging out wrongs and rights and normal nights.
I was a baby. I am a child. I will be a mother.
I don’t mind being considered beautiful, I do not allow that to be my definition.
I am a rich pie strong with knowledge. I will not be eaten.”
“I will never write anything this beautiful and I have a degree in English,” one user tweeted. “I want to cross stitch this on my heart,' tweeted another user.
