If you're in a relationship you see going all the way (aka marriage) you should ask these 4 BIG questions first.
1. Does your family like me?
If someone wants to be with you for the long-term, they usually will want to be approved of by your family and will want to explore blending their family with yours.
2. What kind of parents do you think we'd make?
It may come off as casual and off the cuff, but if someone is considering whether or not they want to share their life with you, your ideal family situations not lining up can be a deal-breaker.
3. How much debt do you have?
If your partner has financial debt it eventually becomes your issue when marriage gets involved. So while it might be awkward to ask, you need to know for your own safety.
4. Is there anything I need to know about you that I don't already?
Eventually you'll learn everything about your partner and it's better to get it out of the way earlier on then in the future when it becomes a more pressing issue.
