It was so nice getting to spend a lot of quality time with my family this week. I hope you were able to do the same. I kicked off the weekend setting up even more Christmas decor. I have most up now! Olive was amazed with this little lantern that lights up. I'll have to get more this year!
We took Olive to a place called Inneractiv. It is out in Mounds View which is a long trip for us, but it really is cool if you're looking for indoor things to do. It's HUGE!
Thursday we went to Jake's mom's house for Thanksgiving. Jake's sister brought bean boozle for Dillon for part of his birthday gift. I got rotten fish, so Hannah is dead to me.
After dinner, there was an arm wrestling competition lol. Jake and his brother couldn't beat each other. They tried until they both gave up.
Friday evening we took a LONG trip out to Wisconsin for the Miracle at Big Rock Christmas event. I would highly recommend it. It's their first year, and they have great lights. They had lots of other things too like horse sleigh rides, visits with Santa, food trucks, etc. Olive enjoyed it too despite this photo! lol
Saturday morning was Dillon's 14th birthday. He wanted a youtuber shirt that he is only allowed to wear at home...
We went to the new Hope Breakfast Bar in the West End. Their St. Paul location is great, and Jake and I really love the owners. They've opened other great spots in the Twin Cities as well. Plus, the new spot is right by the radio station which is great! These are the pillow pancakes!
Jake took Dillon to MOA to ride rides with friends for his birthday, so I met up with my friend, Harry. We went to some antique stores and had a great time.
Today I helped my friend, Wynne set up a bunch of Christmas trees for The Northern Express. It's another fun Christmas village with lot's of fun shopping and experiences that opens soon and will be over on the West Side which is great for me LOL! It's in the Camp Tanadoona area! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Excited to be back on the show tomorrow. We're 1-week out from Jingle Ball, and Christmas Wish starts Thursday. Lot's to look forward to!
