Olive has a little virus (tested negative for covid), and her eyes started getting pink Friday, so we took her to urgent care to check on that. She didn't have pink eye, but a bit of ear inflammation, and the virus was causing the eye issues.
One good thing Friday was our bathroom light was installed! We had a bathroom renovation that started in July. Like all renovations, it actually went super smooth and fast until September when I had shower handles on back order. SO it has been finished for 2 months, and those finally came in. This week they were installed, and we had our final inspection and final light hung. Now I have a few things I want to do to decorate it, but it is finished, and we LOVE it! I worked with Pheasant Run Construction, and they were amazing. I also worked with Melissa of @oho_house on Instagarm. She was in charge of all of the design. They all made things so easy and amazing. We don't have any other big renovations for the house, but I do have a few updates with painting etc I plan to do in 2022!
Saturday we had my mom come watch Olive so we could take Dillon to see the new Ghostbusters movie, and we REALLY liked it! I saw the one in 2016 which was awful, so I was worried, but this was really good. It had some great laughs and some scary moments that made you jump. It was in line with the original I thought!
Today I went to MOA to host a book event with Charlie Berens. Do you know who he is? He's super funny! You should look him up if not. He does midwest comedy videos/podcast etc! He was super nice!
