Falen's Weekend in Five Pictures (Plus a Little More) 10/23-10/25

I took the week off, and it was so nice to just relax and reset if that makes sense. It's funny because I often start thinking of ideas for the show even on my first day off. Sometimes I get so into my routine and trying to get all of the things I need to get done, done, I feel like my brain is fried. I know how important it is to take a little time to clear your head so you can get back to that creative flow. At least that's how I am. Saturday I had tea with my friends at the Lynhall in Edina. That was my favorite thing I did in London when I went with Tina, so we were excited to see they were offering it. Plus, my friend, Raven was there. She flew in to surprise us! She used to do nights on KDWB, but she works in Texas now. It was the BEST surprise!

We also hung out at The Great Wolf Lodge for a couple of days. A lot of people have asked how it was. We felt super safe. There were honestly barely any people there, so it was nice.

As you know, it snowed on Tuesday. I had to throw Olive out in it, and she L....hated it! haha! BUT we forced her in her sled anyway. She cried the whole time.

We've been working on projects around the house. It's been frustrating for me because it makes me aware of how little I can actually do. I decided to start the process to change out my drawer hardware. The old pulls had screws on the outside, so I removed those, cleaned, patched, sanded and painted. My new pulls had holes on the back side. Plus, all of my drawers are different sizes. I didn't want to mess it up, so I hired a great woman to do it for me. I posted a reels video on Instagram if you want to see the 15 second, condensed process @falenkdwb

I also saw local food blogger, Pinch of Yum, posted a bunch of freezer meals. She posts the grocery list, recipe etc. I picked a few that looked good and made some for me and my mom.

AND today I worked out (for the first time all week...whoops) and we carved pumpkins! Olive loved the feel of the pumpkin guts, and Dillon HATES it! haha I missed you and am SO happy to be back tomorrow. Thank you for checking out my pictures and for listening:)
