I moved into my house in 2014, and the house was new. It actually had been hit by a tornado in 2009, and sat there abandoned. They rebuilt it, and that happened to be when I was looking for a house. I loved everything about it including the paint. I did upgrade a lot of the lighting throughout, and I updated the shower door in the master bathroom. Since then, I've always wanted to spruce it up more. I don't love dark wood, so if you do, you'll probably prefer the before photos. haha
I was initially just going to change the lights and paint the vanity and change the hardware. BUT everyone told me I needed to change the mirrors. I finally cracked when I found cheaper mirrors at Target, and then I also decided I should change the faucets too. I found those for cheap as well. This paint is only found at Hirshfield's. I saw this color in someone's kitchen and loved it. I would never normally order this brand of paint because it's expensive!
I've never painted anything before, so I was beyond stressed the entire time. I don't know how people paint their kitchen cabinets. I bought a cheap sander and sanded, primed then added 2 coats of the paint. The towel bar hasn't come in yet, so that will be updated sometime in July!
