Falen's Weekend in Five Pictures 5/31-6/2

Friday I was in charge of getting Dillon from school, so I drove over to Edina and sought out a treat. Jake told me I should go to Perkin's. Perkin's aren't a thing where I'm from, so I have maybe been to one once since living here. I saddled up to the bar and ordered this pie and ice cream!

Then, I stopped over at Trader Joe's to get my favorite flowers, Peonies! I planted peony bushes in front of my house 2 years ago. They came back last year, and I was told on year two, they should blossom. Well, they're back this year, and they definitely look like they're going to, so I'm super excited!

We watched the new Netflix movie "Always Be My Maybe", and we really liked it!

Saturday we drove to Stillwater because I love that area, and we wanted to try a new breakfast spot, Mon Petit Cheri. The bakery items were great! We went for a nice walk around Lake Bde Maka Ska, and I have decided their porta-potties are the worst of any I've ever seen. I pee a lot, as you might know, so I have tried A LOT around the lakes. Theirs are so gross. We did as you do on a nice day...and hit a patio for dinner (Stray Dog in NE shoutout).

We also went to see the new Elton John movie. I liked it but wasn't expecting a full musical. I thought it would be more like Bohemian Rhapsody with music when he's writing a song or performing one, but it could easily be turned into a Broadway Musical, and I'm guessing it will be. We stopped by to see Colt, our night show host's cats after. He and his wife, Jen were there too.

AND on Sunday, we drove to Waseca to the Pleasant Grove Pizza Farm. If you've never been to a pizza farm, they're great! Basically it's a farm where they farm AND make pizzas on certain days of the week. They use ingredients from their farms to make the pizzas. This is the second one I've been to, and it was GREAT!
