I am writing this on a Hallmark movie commercial break. I think I've seen them all now. I don't have a favorite because they are all my favorites. After the show on Tuesday, I cut my hair off. I just decided I wanted to cut it, and I did. I haven't totally figured out how to style it yet, but I do really like it!
My mom came in town on Wednesday, and that night we went to see some improv at Huge. It was a great choice-super funny!
Thursday was the Thanksgiving. I made 2 recipes, and both were great, but the maple pie I made was amazing. I will 100% make it again. It ended up making 2 really thin pies, and it was quite rich, so I can't imagine it being 1 thick pie. Click here for the recipe. Also, I didn't have quite 1 cup of maple syrup, so I made up the difference with my honey. Also, I never got a pic of it:( Last year, we took this exact pic on Thanksgiving with Jake's family, so now it's a tradition, and we have to recreate it every year. We all had less hair this year! ha!
I honestly don't remember what day I bought this little bar stand, but I love it. It was on sale at West Elm.
Okay, now the Kardashians are starting...we didn't really do a lot of Black Friday shopping, but we did get a ladder to hang Christmas lights. AND it was terrifying to watch the entire time.
Tonight, we saw "The Hate You Give". I didn't read the book, but all I can say is see the movie. I really hope you had some time off and got to spend time with the ones you care about. I'm truly thankful for you...I mean if you made it this far, wow...thank you!
