First of all, I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was pretty awesome! Friday night, I saw a radio dj named Bobby Bones was in town. If you don't know who he is, he's a big radio dj in Nashville. His show is syndicated all over the country, and this year, he was a mentor on American Idol. Anyway, via Twitter we arranged to meet at the Mary Tyler Moore statue and grab dinner. He's a super nice guy, and we chatted about work and dating apps...all the things you chat about. Then, I dropped him off for a comedy show at Acme.
Saturday, we hit the Northeast Farmer's Market and a little makers market! How cute is this flower truck?
AND, I had lake patrol! Shoutout Big Island!
Then Saturday night, Jake and I had the BEST time. We went to see 8th Grade. It's a movie about an 8th grade girl. She's quiet, and she isn't popular, and it was such a perfect representation. I cried so hard near the end. It's only at Uptown theater for a week I think, but I truly recommend it. It's rated R, but I think it would be great to show your middle-schooler...you should watch first to make sure though! ha!
We grabbed dinner and some drinks then went home for a night of at-home-karaoke! We killed it! Plus, I think it's a perfect free date night idea!
Sunday, Jake was taking photographs at a wedding, so Dillon and I hit up the XGames!
