She released to Spotify her country-tinged cover of the classic Earth, Wind & Fire song “September.” Yet, Taylor tweaked the opening line. Rather than sing “Do you remember the 21st night of September” she changed it to the “28th night of September.”
Fans are confident that’s the date when Taylor and Joe Alwyn made a serious commitment. The song is special to them. The very first meeting, when Taylor co-hosted the Met Gala, they danced to “September.”
Later that same year, on the first week of September, Taylor confirmed she’d split from British actor Tom Hiddleston. A month later, she and Joe Alwyn attended a New York City concert by Kings of Leon. In between, the 28th night of September, Joe and Taylor made a love connection. (Billboard)
