University of Minnesota cancels in-person classes because of Coronavirus

Well, it was only a matter of time before it was happening.

The U of M has officially cancelled in-person classes for the rest of the semester due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The change will go into effect Monday morning.

According to the Star Tribune, this includes all five campuses in the state. Minnesota State campuses have yet to announce any closings.

There are now four cases in the state and over 1,000 nationwide.

This seems like a really good time to remind you to WASH. YOUR. HANDS.

Stay clean!!! If you go somewhere, wash your hands or cover your hands when opening doors.

Also, to the students: remember that you still have to log in for classes. This isn't an excuse to binge watch everything on Netflix (unless you're the same kind of student I was, and didn't show up to class anyway.)
