I got my pilot's license when Allison was 3 and she's been flying with me ever since. When she was 5, in 1997, we took our first picture in the air. We didn't mean for it to become a tradition but it really has! By about year 4, I said, "Hey this is cool! We need to do this every year!"
And we have! Just took this year's pic, and although we don't always actually fly, it's fun to see the changes and now her girls in the pictures!

I treasure this pictures. I hope we can keep this up for many years and one day the girls will want to actually go up flying with me.
If you have kids, you have to do this. Pick a place that doesn't change year after year, like maybe a park or a tree or a big rock or something and before you know it, you'll have a precious bunch of photos that you, and they, will love!
