Dave’s Outdoorsy Colorado Weekend in Five Pictures

I came to Colorado last week to see my sister Vivian for her birthday and get some things done around the house. INCLUDING $17,000 in repairs to the leaking basement. Yup! 17K. It’s an old house and it’s needed it for a long time but I can think of a million things I’d rather spend $17,000 on.

And here’s what I did the rest of the weekend!

Wet basement! Yep, those things that look like potato chips are freakin’ MUSHROOMS! GROSS!

I went to a motorcycle rally on Saturday. It was pretty much rained out and only a few people showed up, but I met some nice people and had a good time.

And I got my license tabs renewed. It’s so simple here. It takes about 5 minutes at a kiosk and you’re done!

I rode up into the mountains on Sunday.

…And I found a secluded little spot next to a creek to play ukulele. It was all great until four random people decided to come sit about 10 feet away like I wasn’t even there. So weird when there was a whole mountainside to sit! But I kept playing anyway!
