Dave’s Winter Carnival and Tamale Pie Weekend in Five Pictures!

Well alright! Let’s dig into those five pictures from the weekend!

Friday night, we went downtown to Butcher and the Boar for dinner. It was fun to get out of the Chan/Victoria/EP neighborhood!

Saturday night, Falen and I were in the Winter Carnival Torchlight Parade and while we were waiting for it to start, we ran into Mayor Carter and his family.

We rode with Al who was VERY popular with his hot air balloon burner cuz it looked cool and it warmed everyone up every time he hit it!

This week’s crockpot recipe: Tamale Pie. It was a hit and it was fun to make!

And it was Ava’s 2 1/2 birthday. I’ve never done a half-birthday celebration before but it was fun and Ava loved it!

And that’s it! I hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed the warmer weather and the fact that it was sunny!
