Time Machine Photos! The North Loop in 1998 and 2023

Shout out to northloop.org for this amazing series of photos!

The first was taken in 1998 and the second from the same spot 25 years later.

I used to work downtown from 1993 to 2003 and the Northloop used to be called "The Warehouse District." It was mostly abandoned and broken down old warehouses with a few bars and restaurants here and there.

Now it's trendy and cool and modernized with a totally 100-year-old retro look.
