It was a weird Easter for me, but it was still okay. For the first time in my life, there was no family gathering, no Easter dinner, no kids over for Easter egg hunts on Sunday. Allison and her family are with her in-laws, Carson is in Boston, so pretty quiet on Sunday. But still had a good weekend! Let's dive in!
I exercise pretty much every day but hadn't run in a month or so. I signed up for the TC 10-Miler so I figured I'd better at least stay in running shape. I did 3.1 miles on the treadmill Saturday. I can't say it was super-easy, but I did it!
Like all cats, Roger sits pretty much wherever he wants to sit.
There's a musty smell in our bathroom, which could be anything from old wet laundry to water damage. So Inspector Dave took a flashlight up into the crawl space. Good news: No water damage.
Ava and Allison came over Saturday for a visit and Ava's first Easter egg hunt! She's still very wary of me for some reason so I hung back and took pictures. It took a few demonstrations for her to understand what she's supposed to be doing, but she picked up on it pretty quickly!
Saturday night, I was tired of staying home and didn't want to just go somewhere for dinner because then we'd have to talk, LOL! So we went to Victoria Burrow in Victoria. It's basically a Dave and Busters with more of a casual, bar feel to it. Great for little kids and big kids with food, drinks, golf, video games, ax throwing and more. And I set my own personal record at Ms. Pac Man!
Shout out to all the cool people who came up and said hi while I was there!
Have a great week, and as always, thanks for looking at my pictures!
