Last week, I got an invitation to go to the preview of Jason Matheson's new bar, "Lush" in Northeast. I don't get a lot of invitations like that and I was like, "F**k yes! I'm going!"
So I did! That was probably the highlight of my weekend so lets start there!
I walked in and first person I recognized was Frank Vascellero from WCCO Channel 4 and his wife Amelia Santaniello. I love them both and have know them for a long time. We hung out, made each other laugh, bragged, charmed everyone and had a great time! And we got this picture with Jason. Thanks Jason for the invite!
I ran into my old boss, Dan who used to work at KDWB for years. And Shannon who also worked at KDWB for years. Two of my favorite radio people.
Let's skip back in time to Saturday morning. My wife asked me to make sure Santa showed up at her store to meet some of the kids coming in. I did my famous "Jumping Fish" magic trick and I love the look of astonishment on the girl's face and the climax of the trick. So cute!
My granddaughter Ava spent Saturday night and on Sunday we played with Legos. Such a cute age and curious about everything!
And making Christmas cookies with Allison and Carson and Ava.
