Dave's Weekend in Five Pictures: Is This the Cutest Dog of All Time?

This was the best kind of weekend for me. We did something fun on Friday and Saturday was all just a chill-day to hang around the house and get things done. Sunday we had fun at the dog meet-up and then had Sunday afternoon to work on the show for the week.

Here's a look at my weekend in five pictures!

Friday night we picked up Allison to go out with us to downtown St. Paul. (Her husband was skiing with friends) We love downtown St. Paul and were really looking forward to it. Here we are at the Science Museum to see the IMAX Apollo 11 movie. It was so good! Do you know that about 27% of young people doubt that we actually went to the moon? To me that's crazy, but that's a discussion for another day.

Afterward we went to Pazzaluna for dinner. We'd tried to get reservations there a few weeks ago but it was full, so we were happy to be there! Allison ordered a Shirley Temple because she's pregnant. BTW, her baby is now the size of a donut! Awwwwwww!

Saturday I never even got out of my pajamas, except for a trip to buy a new collar for Josie and some pet food. I purposely went to the local little pet food store and I'm glad I did. I read a post from a local business owner that said something like "When you shop local, you actually make a small business owner do a little happy dance." And who doesn't want that?

Saturday night we watched "Parasite" because the movie company sent me a copy hoping I'd talk about it on the air. One of the perks of our business. It's nominated for an Academy Award, but I have to say it definitely feels like an Academy Award nominated movie, if that makes sense. It's good, but it's not something I'd rave over.

Sunday was the dog meet-up at Paws Doggy Day Care. As you know, the snow was falling and the roads were awful Sunday morning, but we're glad we did it. We had a good crowd and met a lot of great people and heard all about their dogs.

Including this guy, Norman, The Cutest Dog Ever! He came right up to me the minute I walked in and I just had to hold him. Of course, there were a lot of cute dogs there and we had a great time taking pictures and telling stories. We'll definitely do that again soon.

I hope you had a great weekend! Thanks for looking at my blog!

-Dave
