I went flying to Shell Lake, Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon because I'd flown over it before and it looked like a beautiful airport. I took a ton of pictures on the way there and back with some local landmarks.
This is looking east over the Pine Island refinery. I could see the bridge in Hastings but you can't really see it in the picture. Still, it was a beautiful view!
This is the new bridge over the St. Croix. Such a cool bridge! The angle wasn't the best because it was out of the right side of the plane and I was on the left side.
Stillwater and the old lift bridge.
It's hard to spot unless you know it's there but in the top left of this picture you can see the runway at Shell Lake, Wisconsin, one of the prettiest airports I've been to.
White Bear Lake.
US Bank Stadium.
And TCF Bank Stadium.
Thanks for looking!
