When most pregnant women hit the 39 week mark, they are more than ready to give birth, and there are some ways to help bring about labor - walking, some teas and even sex is said to induce it.
But now, there might be a new and incredibly effective way to get that baby out - buffalo wing pizza from Hawthorne's restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina.
You wouldn't think much of the magical powers of the pizza, which is described as having medium-hot Buffalo sauce with chicken and mozzarella cheese, but it also has the nickname "The Inducer," and for a good reason.
Since then, dozens of other customers have had positive results, and sent the restaurant photos of the children Hawthorne's food helped bring into the world.
Owner Michael Adams told Charlotte Five, "I think it’s amazing. When the first person posted that our Buffalo Wing Pizza induced their labor, several new moms followed up to say the same thing. I bet my wife wished she had known about the inducing pizza when she had our two kids at 9 pounds plus.”
