Friday night I went to the Humphrey-Mondale Dinner with my friend TJ who is a Communication Manager for a Congressional District. I got to meet a lot of amazing DFL folks and spend some quality time with my friend TJ.
Saturday I went to two grad parties for some of the seniors on the Speech Team and got to reunite with some folks from the team. I miss them a lot. Congrats to Gabby and Graham on graduating and going off to adulthood!
Saturday evening I went to a driveway concert (Rock the 'Sac) that my improv friends Pat and Danylo's band plays in. Their garage band plays about 15 songs, there were about 30 people there to watch, it was so cute and fun! I think they're band is called The Contingency Plan, though not officially.
Sunday, my sister, niece, and I headed to my dad's house to celebrate Father's Day with some french toast and a trip to the park to slide on the slides. My niece is 2.5 and is super smart. Love her.
Sunday afternoon I saw the matinee of Significant Other at Lyric Arts in Anoka. There was a talkbalk afterwards and I LOVE a talkback. The show was amazing; I really connected with the main character and the overall story. It was hella relatable.
