Friday night I had a spontaneous opportunity pop up and got to see a screening of High Fidelity with a Q&A afterwards with John Cusack! My sister and I were huge fans as tweens - many of our Hollywood Video rentals were John Cusack movies. I got the last question in and created quite the hubub!
This weekend is the Twin Cities Improv Festival and the "after hours hub" is at the LITT Pinball Bar. So my friend Justin and I hit up LITT after the Cusack show and played some pinball. I stayed out until 1:30am for the first time in like a year.
Saturday morning, Momma Ronda and I went to Anoka Pride, which lives in the parking lot of our church! It's cute and little but getting bigger every year!
Saturday afternoon I went to the 4th Annual Lake of the Isles Pencil Sharpening. Met up with an old coworker and her family and we had great seats! There had to be 1000 people there and it was great! So campy and ridiculous.
Saw a lot of live theatre this weekend as well. The Twin Cities Improv Festival at the Phoenix Theater, Passion at Theater Latte Da, and Matt & Ben at The Hive Collaborative.
