Friday night I got a Rush ticket to Come From Away at the Ordway. It's about the 38 planes who had to emergency land in Newfoundland on 9/11. It was VERY interesting and VERY well done!
Saturday was Speech Day! We competed at Eagan High School and it was a GIANT, COMPETITIVE tournament. I had a few students make a final round, but it was a good day for learning!
Saturday night I did a Spotlight Education performance evaluation for PiM Arts High School's production of Singin' in the Rain. Can you believe I'd never seen it before?? They actually made it rain onstage!
Sunday I went on a nice long walk that turned into a spontaneous stop at my friend Sarah's house. We then went to lunch at Nico's Tacos, walked to visit our friend Daniela, and ended at Odd Mart. It was a nice spurt of spontaneity and I saw a very friendly cat on my walk AND both Sarah and Daniela's cats too!
Ended the weekend seeing A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Guthrie with my friend Justin. It was really good. A WEEKEND FULL OF THEATRE!
