Two very different days of weather, and yet, she stays booked and busy.
After the Happy Hour at Maynards, I got myself Culvers (flavor of the day was Caramel Peanut Buttercup and that perfect creation NEVER happens) and went home to rot in bed watching 3 hours of Sex and the City. Favorite quote from the episodes I watched - "You're never alone in New York City. It's the perfect place to be single. The city is your date." And I feel that way about Minneapolis!
Saturday morning I woke up with an awful crick in my neck (which happens at least 3 times a year now) and a power outage, so I went to my mom's to check on her cats while she's in Ohio visiting my grandma. I ended up staying awhile and cuddling with her cats. Then, I drove through the rain to deliver the Highway Cleanup racoon/possum/something head (complete with teeth) to my friend Sarah.
Saturday night I was a kitten (stagehand) at the Rose Academy of Burlesque Cheers Queers Anniversary show, where after every act, we picked up money, pieces of clothing, and hoofed it up and down stairs. My burlesque character is a blonde, so I wore a wig and got so sweaty. My burlesque love, Jack Asston, was performing a cowboy number, so of course I had to have a country inspired look to match.
Sunday truly from 9am to 7pm, I was on a boat on White Bear Lake (go bears!) It is so insanely expensive to rent a boat, so me and my friends from college only do it once a year. I am not sure why they trust random people to drive a boat and not crash. Above is me, Nick, Lance, Jess, and Sarah!
Ya girl got a little burnt, but I was actually pretty good at sunscreenin'. Getting in the water to pee was awful though.
One bonus picture - on Thursday night I performed in an improv show and we got one picture with my whole team onstage. We're called Whose Left and we've been improvising together for two years (but we rarely get shows). Above is Chris, Kai, Me, Danylo, Pat, and Pat!
