Dave’s Thanksgiving Week in Way More Than Five Photos!

I was off all last week and went to Colorado where three out of my four kids and their families were able to join us for Thanksgiving. Let’s take a look at those pictures!

OK, I will admit it, I watched the Netflix movie, “Hot Frosty” About a snowman that comes to life. It was completely stupid, but didn’t pretend to be anything but stupid. Totally enjoyable and highly recommended!

I love this picture! That is Evelyn and Ava excited to get on the plane from Minneapolis to Colorado!

OK, this didn’t turn out exactly the way I wanted, but it’s supposed to look like a train and every car is full of vegetables. Can you see the cucumber wheels?

The girls were big helpers hauling in wood for the fireplace.

On Thanksgiving eve all of us went downtown Colorado Springs shopping. Such a beautiful downtown and all lit up for Christmas.

Carson and Chase browsing through cocktail recipe books in a gift shop.

And that is me pointing to the big bitch that I conquered last summer!

I don’t know how it became tradition that I peel the potatoes on Thanksgiving.

Reading a classic to baby Gwen!

Here is the Thanksgiving spread! Isn’t it funny how food never looks as good in pictures!

We played a game on Nintendo switch called Jackbox. It’s so good. All the questions appear on the TV screen and people play on their phones. there are all kinds of different games, this was just one of them.

This is a hill behind my Colorado house that I used to sled on when I was a kid. Justin and I took the girls sledding and they loved it.

Ava got a brand new Polly Pocket which totally reminded me of when her mom, Allison, had one when she was that age. Did you have a Polly Pocket?

Had to get some exercise while I was on vacation! I did this three times. Climbed over 1000 vertical feet on the treadmill. This time I just happened to stop at 1013. :-)

A friend of mine took a picture of her daughter with my book. It’ll make the perfect Christmas present for age 1-5. Kids seem to love it! It’s available on Amazon.

Flying home on Saturday I met Rae. She’s a flight attendant for Southwest and listens to our show all the time. Thank you Rae for the extra hospitality! And for listening!

Time to get a tree! Have you got yours up yet?

And that is it! Hope you had a good holiday and thanks as always for looking at my pictures!
