Earlier this year, Prince Harry and Prince William granted permission for Princess Diana's wedding dress to be put on display at a new exhibit located at Kensington Palace. The iconic wedding gown is the centerpiece of Royal Style in the Making, which opened at the palace's Orangery on June 3.

When the exhibit first opened, the gown was accompanied by a placard that read: “Lent by HRH The Duke of Cambridge and HRH The Duke of Sussex,” referring to Princes William and Harry, respectively. For those who may not know, HRH stands for the title His/Her Royal Highness.

Not long after Royal Style in the Making opened to the public, however, The Royal Collection Trust announced the original placard would be replaced due to an administrative error. “Due to an administrative error, for which The Royal Collection Trust was responsible, the labels were incorrect and will be updated," a statement read.

The placard was replaced late last week. The new placard did not include an HRH title for Prince Harry. The label now reads: “Lent by HRH The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex." According to Us Weekly, Harry's title was removed from two other items on display, as well.

Last summer, Prince William and Prince Harry announced their special plans to honor their late mother's 60th birthday with a new statue of Princess Diana. The statue is set to be unveiled in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace, where the two princes lived with their mother as children.

William and Harry initially commissioned the statue back in 2017 to mark the 20th anniversary of her passing. The statue will be revealed on July 1, 2021. At the time, William and Harry wrote they hope that it will encourage visitors to "reflect on their mother's life and her legacy."

As the unveiling date fast approaches, Harry is all set to travel back to the U.K. for the unveiling ceremony. Unfortunately, Meghan Markle will not be joining him for the special occasion. After welcoming their newborn daughter earlier this month, Meghan will stay in California with newborn baby Lilibet and their 2-year-old son, Archie.

“Meghan is not going to travel,” a source close to the couple confirmed to the Daily Mail. “She has just had a baby and Harry will travel alone.”

Kate Middleton Broke Royal Protocol While Greeting Prince Charles

Kate Middleton is often praised for her staunch approach to royal protocol. The future queen consort rarely missteps when it comes to the rules and regulations of royal life. That's why a small slip-up at a recent engagement is making headlines.

While attending the G7 Leaders Summit in Cornwall, England alongside Prince William, Prince Charles, Queen Elizabeth, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Kate made a slight error when greeting her father-in-law. According to Cornwall Live, Kate cheerfully greeted Prince Charles when she arrived at the event, saying, “Hello, Grandpa! How are you?”

While this is likely how Kate greets her children's grandfather in private, she is supposed to follow official royal protocol when she's in public. This means she's supposed to refer to "Grandpa" by his official titles—His Royal Highness, Prince Charles, or the Prince of Wales.

Meghan Markle is now a best-selling author.

Meghan Markle's children's book The Bench is officially a New York Times bestseller. The Duchess of Sussex took to the Archewell website to thank everyone who supported the project over the past few weeks.

"While this poem began as a love letter to my husband and son, I'm encouraged to see that its universal themes of love, representation, and inclusivity are resonating with communities everywhere," Meghan wrote. "In many ways, pursuing a more compassionate and equitable world begins with these core values."

The Bench published on June 8, just four days after Meghan gave birth to her and Prince Harry's daughter, Lilibet Diana. The story of The Bench was inspired by Prince Harry's sweet bond with their son, Archie Harrison.

"Equally, to depict another side of masculinity—one grounded in connection, emotion, and softness—is to model a world that so many would like to see for their sons and daughters alike," Meghan continued in her note. "Thank you for supporting me in this special project."
