Why Don't We Recalls Memory of 'Cute Couple' Shawn Mendes & Camila Cabello

The 2020 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One looked a little different this year as this year's star-studded lineup performed for fans virtually, but the annual holiday show was still as epic as ever.

This year's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball included performances from Billie Eilish, Doja Cat, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Sam Smith, Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd, and during the official 2020 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Post Show Presented by M&M'S, iHeartRadio's Maxwell, Crystal Rosas, along with Why Don't We, discussed this year's show, and took a walk down memory lane through previous iHeartRadio Jingle Ball shows.

Why Don't We has performed during the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour before, and one memory they recalled involved a very flirty Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello backstage at a previous Jingle Ball. They remembered, "They actually weren't dating, I don't think, when we met them. But, they were some sparks, they were flirting all night. She had strawberries and kiwis, and she was, like, feeding them to him. And we're like, 'Y'all ain't friends, come on.' We didn't wanna say anything, but they were adorable. They definitely had a magic around them, it was pretty cool to see."

They added, "Actually, I think it was us and Charlie Puth were kinda just watching them, and we were like, 'Man, look at them.' They were just hitting it off, and we're all on the sidelines like, 'Wow, you guys are really cute.' They're a great couple."

Another memory the band shared was their green room neighboring the Jonas Brothers' green room. They said:

"We were in Chicago, and the JoBros were next to us, but there was just a curtain in front of us and their green room, like it was a thin wall basically, and they were hilarious. They were just making the most gnarly noises, and we were like, 'What are they doing in there?' Like, I don't think they knew we could hear them. They were making these sounds, and we were like, 'Dude, that is one hell of a song they're making in there.' I don't know what was happening, but yeah."

Why Don't We also performed their new song, "Fallin' (Adrenaline)" from their forthcoming new album, The Good Times And The Bad Ones, which is set to be released on January 15, 2021. The new project follows their 2018 debut album 8 letters, and features 10 new tracks, including "Fallin'."

In case you missed anything, or you just want to relive this year’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball presented by Capital One, The CW will broadcast the event as an exclusive TV special on Monday, December 14th at 8pm ET/PT.
