Kate Middleton Wants Her Kids To Spend More Time With Baby Archie In 2020

The Duke Of Cambridge And The Duke Of Sussex Take Part In The King Power Royal Charity Polo Day

Kate Middleton may be a Duchess, but she still makes New Year's resolutions just like the rest of us. According to an Us Weekly source, Kate has one goal in particular for the new year. She would like to see Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis spend more time with their cousin Archie Mountbatten-Windsor in the coming months.

The anonymous source revealed Kate hopes “that in the new year, the cousins will spend more time together” because her kids "adore" Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 8 month old son. While Kate's hoping all the kids get to spend more quality time together this year, the source adds it wasn't too upsetting for George, Charlotte and Louis that Archie wasn't at Queen Elizabeth's annual Christmas celebrations a few weeks ago. The source explained that “like most children, they’re easily distracted and resilient.”

While Kate and her children spent the holidays with the rest of the royal family, Meghan, Harry and Archie traveled to Canada for Christmas and the New Year. Though there were reports the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were refused a dining reservation at a fancy Vancouver restaurant, it seems they enjoyed their time off overall. Meghan and Harry were spotted walking and hiking around Vancouver and even shared an adorable new photo of Archie.

Now that it's finally 2020, however, Meghan and Harry should be returning to the U.K. any day now to resume their official royal duties. Hopefully they can get a playdate scheduled for Achie and his cousins ASAP.
