Where Does Minnesota Rank for the Happiest States in America?

Wallet Hub just released its annual rankings of the happiest and least-happy states in America. This is no surprise to anyone but HAWAII is #1 this year because well it's Hawaii, it's an island and the weather is amazing. .

The study looks at 31 different factors, like hours worked vs. income . . . commute times . . . life expectancy . . . depression rates . . . how much sleep people get . . . and how nice the weather is.

Let's admit one thing, we all like to think that Minnesota is a great place to live but do the statistics back up this opinion? We know the weather is gonna gonna be a big hit against us. Here we go.

People in South Dakota get the most sleep . . . New York has the lowest suicide rate . . . Utah has the best work hours . . . North Dakota had the best income growth over the last year . . . and the safest state overall is Minnesota.
