My Weekend in Five Pictures: Roger's Ride, Pride 5K Run and Dat Brass Doe

Well hello! I hope you had a great weekend! I kept busy all weekend! Let's get started!

After postponing Roger's Rescue Ride a month ago because of the weather, we did it on Saturday! It was a beautiful day and we had a big crowd of bikers come out to ride to support homeless pets. This is a shot somewhere between Hastings and Redwing. Thanks to Pause 4 Paws for basically setting the whole thing up and thanks to the American Legion in Hastings, the Pioneer Club in Wabasha and the No Name Saloon in Prescott for your hospitality. But mostly, thanks to the riders! See you next year!

Speaking of the riders, here we are in Wabasha by the Mississippi River.

Sunday was the Pride Rainbow Run and we had a huge crowd out to run the 5K. It was cool and drizzly which is actually perfect running weather.

My daughter Allison was out of town for Father's Day last week so she came by today and gave me these socks with pictures of her and Carson. She wanted to put Chase and Beth on them too, but the max number of faces was three. I love them! Thanks Allison!

And finally, Sunday night, my band, Dat Brass Doe, played the National Anthem at the St. Paul Saints game. It's our last performance and I'm going to miss these people. I made so many good friends with the band and I'll never forget all the fun we had together in the parades and festivals we played in over the last three years.

And so just like that the weekend is over. I hope you have a good week!

Thanks for looking at my blog.

-Dave
