Things to Do With Kids this Summer in the Twin Cities

Summer vacation has arrived for anyone with a kid in school and if you're like me and have younger kids you know that hanging at home will only last for so long. In the past few days we've done both a indoor and outdoor activity and when I asked for "the best thing to do with kids in the Twin Cities" I got a ton of great ideas.

We've done two sport related activities so far, on Tuesday since it rained we headed to Grand Slam in Coon Rapids then Wednesday to play soccer outdoors at Life Time Sport at Winter Park.

Grand Slam is great because they have indoor bating cages, laser tag, mini golf and a bunch of other activities you can either do a la carte or you can get a wristband and do most of em.

Life Time Sport has new hours for the summer, it's fun because you can go and play pick-up games of soccer rain or shine. They have coaches that help kids and there's even field set up for teens and adults to also play.

Where else should you go this summer?

Fawn-Doe-Rosa: Easily the #1 place people said you have to go to every summer. It's a family owned private park in Wisconsin. The website says the purpose is to help educate others about animals, wildlife and nature. It's also right in St. Croix Falls that has little drive up restaurants, mini gold and lots of great hiking trails.
