23 Years of Flying With Allison and a Picture From Every Year

I got my pilot's license in 1995 and when Allison was little, she and I used to go flying quite a bit. Just short little trips around the Twin Cities. We loved the together time and she was always ready to go.

In 1997, we flew out to Hector, Minnesota, randomly and on the way back, I held the camera at arm's length and took a picture of us. (We like to think we invented the selfie) We went in May and I can tell because you can actually see KDWB Star Party tickets sticking out of my pocket.

The next year we went again around the same time of the year and got another picture. I don't remember when we started to consider it an annual tradition, but as the photos stacked up, it was fun to see how we changed over the years.

Last Friday night was the latest trip and we still love it. Here are all the pictures from when she was 5 until this year when she's 27.

2005 Allison laughs at this one now because of the braces, the Bronco's shirt and the puca shells. I actually love it because that's who she really was at that age.

Thanks for looking at my blog.
