Tree Trimmer That Was Rescued From My Neighborhood Speaks to Kate Raddatz

I was at home eating lunch last March when I suddenly heard the sounds of sirens which isn't out of the norm but the frequency of these sirens was a surprise. I walk outside after hearing the sixth set of sirens race past our house and suddenly see a helicopter landing down my street.

If you don't know the story a guy was trimming a tree in a backyard when the cherry picker he was using slid into a pond in the backyard pinning him under the 6,000-pound machine in the water. He spoke to our friend Kate Raddatz from WCCO and shared something incredible that rescuers considered doing to free him from the machine.
