Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin Reportedly Getting A Prenup

How does the saying go? First comes love, then comes marriage (well, a license to wed)… what's after that? For Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin: a prenup, apparently.

Sources with direct information told TMZ that the bride-and-groom-to-be have retained lawyers to work out a prenup negotiation before exchanging their vows.

It's an uncomfortable situation, but Bieber's adviser has warned that neglecting to do so would be downright ludicrous. His fiancée agrees, too. In fact, it's the only dealbreaker by which the couple has mutually agreed upon — so essentially, no initials on the dotted line, no wedding. Period.

The new story comes a week after the lovebirds registered for marriage permits at the Marriage Bureau in New York City. Still, it's unclear when JBHB began the paperwork for their prenup, though a pic from the outlet suggests it may have been the same day they received permissions, on Friday (September 13).

Another thing that's been left to the imagination is whether the "Boyfriend" singer and the model were, in fact, fast-approaching newlywed status. As described in a previous report, rumor had it the twosome, who got engaged in July and originally planned to wait to marry next year, was slated to the knot in a small ceremony this week.

However, insiders immediately debunked claims the pair were already hitched, clarifying to Entertainment Tonight that Bieber and Baldwin have only filed for marriage grants and nothing more.
