If you don't remember Brokeback Mountain.....
SUCH A GREAT MOVIE!!
Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal eventually earned the roles that further shot them into Hollywood Stardom.
Writer Van Sant said, "Nobody wanted to do it." Apparently playing a 'gay love story' was a risky move back when filming was taking place.
I'm sure not all the people who turned down Brokeback Mountain declined for that reason, but I bet a few of them did. The list goes as followed:
- Leonardo DiCaprio
- Brad Pitt
- Matt Damon
- Ryan Phillippe
- Tom Hardy
I'm glad everything turned out how it did though, such a dope movie with great acting.
