I want to stop and say THANKS to everyone who came to our very first Drag Queen Overboard! Boat Cruise, it was an awesome time, a lot of fun and I think we will have to do it again. My favorite is the people walking around with small cups of orange juice and large bottles of champagne.
After the cruise worked on the porch swing that I finally got hung up (see picture below) and then that evening we braved the mosquitos and went to Maple Grove Days Fireworks.
Sunday we met up with our friends Matt and Chelsea and their son, Ryder and went for a day on Lake Minnetonka. Spent the morning on the lake, played on the beach at big island, had lunch at Maynards and made it home to take an hour nap.
Finally, after a bit of a disaster on Friday which when I went to hang this porch swing it ended up crashing to the ground as of Sunday, it is now open! If you're wondering how I built it I plan to show what it's based on and how we did it in a post later this week.
