The post I shared then wrote after watching the video with the Coach Steve Kerr of the Golden State Warriors.
***HERE'S MY FACEBOOK POST ABOUT FLORIDA BUT DON'T WORRY IF YOU DON'T READ IT BECAUSE IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER ANYWAY****
This is exactly how I feel about the Florida situation. Nothings has been done, Democrats, Republicans, Independents, people who care, people who don't care NOBODY HAS DONE ANYTHING.
Why would they attempt to find a way to curb the problem after yesterdays shooting if they didn't after kindergartners were killed at a school.
Why would they attempt to find a way to fix the problem after fans at a country concert were killed?
Shoot, there's been school shooting here in Minnesota.
And to be fair, I've done NOTHING, you reading this have done nothing. We've all done nothing and after you go and see Black Panther this weekend you'll forget all about this.
I actually don't blame the NRA, I don't blame Fox News or Republicans, I don't blame Democrats for trying to say "I told ya so", i don't blame Donald Trump for taking the evening to respond because at this point it's all crap
Families who had their babies murdered at Sandy Hook all these years later haven't gotten justice. The only time you hear about them isn't regarding a new law or regulation that makes this sort of thing less likely to happen again. You hear from them when they defend themselves against a-holes on the internet that claim Sandy Hook never actually happened.
Someone brought up a Town Hall Meeting, great idea. Go, I'll be at home.
People will pour into a room, they will argue, they will speak their mind, get emotions off their chest..they'll feel like they did their part.
Guess what? They made as much of an impact attending that town hall as I am writing this Facebook post because for whatever reason our country no longer cares about being great, we care about not making a mistake! And if you've read this far into my post isn't the commericals you were watching over yet because I know my opinion isn't gonna change anything you say while you watch Grey's Anatomy/College Basketball/Olympics/DIY/Cake Boss/blah, blah, blah.
Remember what happened on 9/11 when the entire Senate stood together in solidarity on the steps of the Capital because we were under attack? Has that happened since 9/11? Nope.
Here's my solution. There is no solution until we admit there's a problem....and I don't think all the "teams" in this country (Democrat, Republican, Educated, etc) are willing to admit that yet.
If you made it to the end of this post congrats, because I would've moved on awhile ago.
So, Until next time.
Oh and feel free to comment, it won't make a difference anyway.
